OCR Plugin

OCR Plugin: this is not a standalone application. It requires back camera.

This plugin performs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on behalf of other applications. It provides the possibility to capture text from printed books and newspapers by pointing the rear camera of your device.

Note: please this plugin only if you have an application that needs it.

The OCR plugin requires a back camera with autofocus to perform proper OCR functionality. This plugin recognizes only Latin Alphabet.

- Online, Offlline Dictionaries and Online Thesaurus by Livio

⚠ In case text recognition does not work, please update Google Play Services to latest version and/or clear data of Google Play Services.

Permissions

The OCR plugin requires the following permissions:

CAMERA - to capture images for the optical character recognition

INTERNET - to report software errors
