Minej - contains variable prayers for each day of the year.

The monthly minae (from μηναιον - month) contains changing prayers for each day of the year, according to the dates of each month, for immovable holidays (that is, those that always come on a specific day in a specific month). Therefore, the monthly miney, in accordance with the number of months in the year, consists of twelve books. At the end of each book, special Easter songs of the Mother of God, or so-called dogmatists, the Virgin's Resurrection that is sung after the verses to the verses, the Virgin's that are sung "when there is 'Glory' to the saint in Minaj"; then the absolution hymns sung after the troparion on Sundays and holidays, and the absolution hymns sung on ordinary days after the troparion.

In addition to the monthly Minei, there is also the so-called festive Minei, or "Anthologion", or "Trefologion", "Flower", which contains services selected from the monthly Minei for the feasts of the Lord, the Mother of God and especially revered holidays in honor of some saints.

The general Minaeus contains variable prayers not for each saint separately, like the monthly Minaeus, but for each assembly of saints separately, for example, the general service for the apostles, martyrs, saints, etc. Apart from services to the saints, it also contains the general order of the feasts of the Lord, the Virgin, the cross, angels, forerunners and councils.

The general Minaeus has a dual use; first of all, it is necessary with the monthly Minaeus, when the service is to be performed for those saints for whom no special service is written in the monthly Minaeus; secondly, in poor churches, where there is not a complete set of liturgical books, the general Minaeus serves as a substitute for the twelve volumes of the monthly Minaeus.

There is also a supplementary Minaj, with services to recently glorified saints, which for that reason were not included in the monthly Minaj.

The Minej program also includes:
